National Games 2025: In the National Games on Saturday, hosts Uttarakhand took initiative related to robotic technology and filled everyone with a pleasant feeling. The occasion was the medal ceremony of the athletics event. The action started in the ‘Molly Robot’ from the command of the remote controller. He reached the winners with a medal in a tray. The guests picked up medals and wore the winners around the neck.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami appreciated this initiative and said that in addition to the best performance of the players in the 38th National Games, Abhinav initiative is also visible to the whole country. The government is trying to take full advantage of the new technology and work for the development of sports.

However, the medal ceremony was traditionally organized in the national sports except the athletics event. That is, only women brought a medal for the winners with a tray in hand. About 40 events of athletics are to be held. According to Sports Director Prashant Arya, ‘Molly Robot’ will be used during the medal ceremony in most of the events of athletics.

Vipin Kumar, Dipankar Bisht, Prashant Chandra, Deepak Bisht, Abhishek Kumar, Prajwal Rawat of Uttarakhand Police’s drone team along with a private firm worked on the Molly robot project for about one and a half months. While ‘Molly Robot’ worked in the medal ceremony, another robot collaborated during the discus event. According to Olympian Manish Rawat, he has seen the use of robots in the medal ceremony for the first time.
