
Bakrid (Eid-ul-Azha) in India will be celebrated on 2025 Saturday, June 7, as the moon of Dhul Hija 1446 Ah has been seen in the country on 29 May 2025. This festival is dedicated to the spirit of Darma Abraham (Alaihi Salaam) to Allah’s loyalty and sacrifice, when he expressed his desire to sacrifice his son. On this occasion, Muslims offer prayers, sacrificed animals.
Bakrid’s day is a symbol of the conclusion of Haj pilgrimage, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. The first ten days of Dhul Hija are considered extremely sacred in Islam, and during this time Muslims from all over the world are engaged in worship, charity and self-supervision.
