
Delhi Police have launched a search operation after a threat was made against Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The Ghaziabad Police informed the North West District Police about the threat late Thursday night. Police sources indicate that an unidentified person called the Ghaziabad Police PCR and threatened the Chief Minister. Ritesh Tripathi, ACP Ghaziabad, stated that a call was received at the Ghaziabad Commissionerate’s Kotwali police station on June 5, 2025, threatening to kill the Delhi CM. The Delhi control room was notified immediately, and Delhi’s local police responded swiftly. The caller’s number is being traced. Surveillance is in place, and teams have been assembled to find the individual. Legal action will follow the capture of the caller. Both Ghaziabad and Delhi Police are actively investigating.
