An all-party parliamentary delegation, under the leadership of BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, has arrived in Berlin to solidify India’s commitment to fighting terrorism. The Indian Embassy in Germany confirmed the delegation’s arrival and stated its intention to present a united Indian position. The delegation was received by the Indian Ambassador to Germany, Ajit Gupte. The visit is a component of the Indian government’s diplomatic strategy, Operation Sindoor, that emphasizes a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism. The delegation’s itinerary in Germany, from June 5-7, includes meetings with German parliamentarians, officials from the Federal Foreign Office, think tank representatives, and members of the Indian community. The delegation’s visit to Germany follows a previous visit to Belgium, where concerns about terrorism were discussed. Former Deputy National Security Advisor Pankaj Saran highlighted the EU’s recognition of India’s increasing economic and geopolitical influence. This diplomatic outreach is a direct response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the subsequent military actions taken by India.
