
Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, lauded the Agricultural University, Sabour, for obtaining an A grade from NAAC. This accomplishment is a significant milestone, not only for the university but for the entire state of Bihar, signifying its advancement in higher education, research, and innovation. Sinha acknowledged that the achievement is the result of the university’s commitment, efforts, and collective participation from faculty, scientists, staff, students, and farmers. The NAAC peer team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the university’s academic, administrative, infrastructural, research, and outreach aspects. The university’s high academic standards, inclusive development initiatives, research progress, and administrative transparency are all recognized by the accreditation. The university’s commitment to aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is evident through the implementation of the curriculum and operational strategies. The institution also provides credit transfer facilities, allowing students to participate in interdisciplinary studies.
