A bizarre incident unfolded during a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru, leaving a passenger confined to the airplane lavatory for the entire duration of the flight. The airline has since apologized and reportedly offered compensation to the affected passenger.
The passenger got locked in the lavatory shortly after the flight took off. Despite the crew’s efforts, the door couldn’t be opened. To provide comfort, the crew sent a handwritten note to the passenger through the door, requesting him to remain inside the toilet until the plane landed.
The flight, which was delayed, finally landed in Bengaluru at around 3:45 AM. The ground staff then managed to open the door. A photo of the crew’s note went viral, resulting in widespread amusement.
