
A gun battle in Balochistan’s Barkhan district on Friday resulted in the deaths of four Baloch fighters. The clash took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil and continued for several hours. Residents reported the use of heavy weapons. The deceased fighters were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their bodies were transported to a hospital in Rakni. The opposing group was a pro-government militia. Pakistani authorities have not released a statement regarding the incident. Separately, heavy fighting occurred in the Spilinji area of Mastung district due to a military operation by Pakistani forces. Large numbers of troops entered the mountainous region, followed by intense gunfire and explosions. The number of casualties on both sides is not yet known. Armed Baloch groups have been active in the area, and the recent events highlight the ongoing conflict.
