
A gun battle in Barkhan district, Balochistan, claimed the lives of four Baloch fighters after a confrontation with a pro-government armed group in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil. The exchange of fire lasted for several hours. The deceased were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their bodies were moved to a hospital in Rakni. The opposing group is considered a state-backed militia. The Pakistani government has not commented on the incident. Separately, a military operation in Mastung district’s Spilinji area led to intense fighting. There were reports of gunfire and explosions, and casualties were reported. No Baloch armed group has claimed responsibility for the clashes in Spilinji. The incidents highlight the persistent conflict between Baloch nationalist groups and state forces in the volatile region.
