In Balochistan’s Barkhan district, four Baloch fighters were killed in a fierce gun battle with a ‘state-backed’ armed group. The incident unfolded in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil and lasted several hours. Witnesses noted the use of heavy weapons during the exchange. The deceased include Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their bodies were subsequently moved to a Rakni hospital. Despite the severity of the clash, Pakistani authorities have remained silent, offering no official comment. Separately, significant fighting was reported in the Spilinji area of Mastung district due to a military operation by Pakistani forces. Casualties were reported on both sides, but the precise number of dead and wounded remains unknown. No Baloch armed group has claimed responsibility for the Spilinji incident.
