A Bengaluru-based techie, Yashas, has been arrested for the murder of 33-year-old Harini. The incident occurred on June 6th in an OYO hotel in Bengaluru’s Poorna Prajyat Layout. Police have registered a case. The woman, who was trying to end her relationship with Yashas, was fatally stabbed 17 times. Harini was a mother of two and faced family problems related to the relationship. In a separate case highlighting the issue of domestic violence, a man named Krishna was arrested in April in Electronic City, Bengaluru, for murdering his wife, Sharda. The incident took place near Big Toguru, and an alleged extramarital affair is believed to have motivated the crime.
