In a disturbing incident from Chhapra, Bihar, a man has been accused of killing his younger brother. The victim, identified as 17-year-old Sonu Kumar, was allegedly stabbed to death by his elder brother, Sunny. The crime occurred in the Marar village of Parsa block on Sunday evening. After the attack, Sunny fled the scene.
The motive behind the murder is quite perplexing. Sonu had bought three ice creams. He ate one, gave one to his mother, and offered the last one to his sister-in-law, who is also the wife of the accused, Sunny. This act of kindness supposedly resulted in the tragic dispute.
The situation escalated when Sonu gave the ice cream to Sunny’s wife. It appears that Sunny misconstrued the gesture, leading to a heated argument. The altercation turned violent, and Sunny attacked his younger brother, Sonu, with a knife. The knife struck Sonu in the left chest, causing severe injuries. Family members rushed him to the community health center for immediate medical assistance.
Upon assessing the seriousness of Sonu’s condition, doctors at the health center referred him to PMCH after providing initial care. Unfortunately, Sonu succumbed to his injuries while en route to PMCH. Police were alerted to the incident and arrived to investigate, gathering information from the family. The body was later transferred to Sadar Hospital.
Sonu’s mother shared that her son was the only provider for the family. The family members also mentioned that Sunny had gotten married just five days before the tragic occurrence. The situation appeared to have been ignited when Sonu gave ice cream to his sister-in-law.
