Diljit Dosanjh has joined the cast of ‘Border 2’ for its third schedule, currently being filmed at the National Defence Academy in Pune. A BTS video shows Diljit arriving on set in the rain. He remarks, “It is very witty weather, it is drizzling.” Upon arrival, he humorously stated, “Sandese ate hain aur sandese jate ahain aur hum bhi aa gaye hain set pe.” The inclement weather caused a delay in the shoot, allowing Diljit to relax and comment, “Because of witty weather shooting is delayed. Me enjoying the weather.” He was seen greeting the cast and crew, including Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, and posing for a group photo. Sunny Deol shared the photo on Instagram to announce the new filming schedule. ‘Border 2’ is slated for release on January 23, 2026. Diljit’s ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ teaser and the trailer for ‘Detective Sherdil’ have also recently been released.
