A man in Gumla district, Jharkhand, stands accused of killing his sister-in-law. The incident happened in the Ghaghra police station jurisdiction. The events unfolded in Gutwa Jokari village. The suspect, identified as Tejwa Lohra, was at his in-laws’ home. He was intoxicated and expressed a wish to eat chicken. He asked his sister-in-law, the wife of Samad Lohra, for ₹200. She refused, stating she didn’t have the money readily available. Angered by the denial, the man attacked her with a sharp weapon, causing her immediate death. The local police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused after the body was discovered by her husband upon his return.
