Following US strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites – Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan – President Donald Trump delivered a national address on June 22, 2025, filled with praise for the ‘Great American Patriots.’ He described the military action as a ‘spectacular military success’ and confirmed that top officials would brief the press. Trump claimed the targeted facilities were ‘totally obliterated.’ The address came after Trump had hinted at joining Israel against Iran, and after a two-week window for diplomacy was declared. He specifically thanked the American military for their actions. In his address, Trump warned Iran, ‘This cannot continue. There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran…’ He also thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their collaborative efforts.
