Moreover, an Air India Express flight from Delhi to Patna was rerouted to Varanasi due to weather concerns. In a separate event, an IndiGo flight with 168 passengers from Guwahati to Chennai issued a ‘Mayday’ call and executed an emergency landing at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. The ‘Mayday’ call was made because of low fuel. The attempted landing in Chennai was abandoned due to an unstable approach.
