
The grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath is scheduled for June 27th, promising a day of spiritual fervor and community celebration. The event will commence from the ISKCON Temple in Kadma, where the final touches are being made to ensure a memorable experience for all.
The Rath Yatra, an annual procession, will see Lord Jagannath, accompanied by his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra, journey to the Gundicha Mata temple. The procession is set to begin at 3:00 PM from the ISKCON temple, proceeding along Brahmlok Dham, Kadma Main Road, and Kadma Bazaar before arriving at the Rankini Temple. The event is expected to attract thousands of participants, including devotees, families, and community members.
Before the Rath Yatra, a series of devotional rituals, including a special puja, will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Prasad will be distributed to devotees from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Rath Yatra will be inaugurated with a grand Maha Aarti at 3:00 PM.
Special Maha Aartis will be conducted at multiple significant locations along the route, illuminated by the glow of Swarna Deep. Local dignitaries and community leaders will be present to witness and participate in the auspicious occasion. The Rath Yatra will culminate at the Rankini Temple with a concluding Maha Aarti and the distribution of Prasad.
The press conference was attended by prominent members of the Rath Sanchalan Samiti, along with a large gathering of devotees, all eager to celebrate the auspicious occasion.
