
If you’re in the market for a new SUV, consider holding off. Several automakers are preparing to launch updated models, potentially providing buyers with better options. The Mahindra Thar (3-door) and XUV700 are among the anticipated launches.
The Mahindra Thar 3-door is expected to get an update soon, inspired by the test mule, the vehicle is expected to get a new front fascia from the Thar Roxx. The new model is expected to gain a new suite of features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital drivers display and ventilated seats with wireless charging and Auto AC. New Safety upgrades would include a 360 Degree camera with level 2 ADAS features. Engine options are expected to remain the same and petrol and diesel options are expected across rear and four-wheel drive versions.
Beyond the Thar, Mahindra will also refresh the XUV700. The test mule is expected to bring minor design tweaks, including a revised front fascia. The new vehicle is seen being tested with new headlights and a front fascia redesign.
Skoda is also planning an update for the Slavia, and the Kushaq is up for a mid cycle update as well. The Kushaq will receive a major facelift. The car will continue to be powered by existing engines. The car is expected to get new additions like electronic parking brakes, a larger digital instrument panel and level 2 ADAS.
Renault is expected to facelift the Triber and the Kiger. Overall design of the vehicles is expected to stay the same. The interior is expected to get new accessibility and features.
Beyond the Kiger and the Triber facelift, the brand is also planning to launch a new facelift for the Renault Duster. The car has already been spotted testing in Europe. Nissan also has plans to launch the Duster with a rebrand soon.
