
Prithvi Shaw is set to leave Mumbai cricket, having requested a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). He intends to play domestic cricket for a different state team as a professional. The batter has expressed his desire to enhance his growth and development as a cricketer.
In the letter to the MCA, Shaw mentioned that he has been presented with a promising opportunity to play professional cricket under another State Association, which he believes, will further contribute to the growth and development as a cricketer. Abhay Hadap, the secretary of the MCA, confirmed the request and the impending issuance of the NOC. Shaw has not played for Mumbai since December 24.
Shaw expressed his gratitude to the MCA. For India, Prithvi Shaw has played 5 Tests and scored 339 runs. He has also played 6 ODIs and one T20I.
