Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is set for July 9 in Brooklyn, New York, with livestreams available on Samsung.com and YouTube. The event is expected to bring substantial updates to Samsung’s product lineup, particularly its foldable phones.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are anticipated, potentially alongside a new ‘Ultra’ model. Teaser materials indicate a focus on thinner, lighter designs. Samsung is highlighting advancements in durability and construction, targeting a more refined user experience.
AI is a major theme, with Samsung promoting its integration with foldable devices. The new devices will likely feature the latest Galaxy AI features, building on what has already been rolled out in the S24 series. Pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold series is expected to remain in the premium category.
The event may also showcase updates to Samsung’s wearable lineup, including the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and a new Watch Ultra. Additionally, One UI 8, with integrated Galaxy AI features, could be previewed. There’s also a possibility of a demonstration of Project Moohan, Samsung’s experimental AR project, focused on immersive experiences and AR integrations.
