Balod: Controversy surrounds a Chhattisgarh school as the headmaster, Sarjuram Thakur, was found drinking alcohol while on duty at the Government Primary School in Chipra village. The headmaster had allegedly concealed the alcohol in a Sprite bottle to avoid detection.
The incident occurred as the new academic year began, prompting scrutiny of the education system. A surprise inspection by the Kusumsakasa BJP Mandal President on Tuesday revealed the headmaster’s actions.
This is not the first time the headmaster has faced such allegations; he was previously suspended for a similar offense. The BJP leader has filed a complaint with the Block Education Officer (BEO), expressing concerns about the reinstatement of the headmaster and emphasizing the need for stringent measures to maintain a proper school environment.
