
The MPV segment in India is seeing significant activity with several new launches planned. Kia is set to introduce the Clavis EV, an electric version of the Carens, which will boast both interior and exterior design updates. It may share its powertrain with the Creta Electric, resulting in a range of over 450 kilometers and the implementation of advanced safety measures. MG is also gearing up to release the all-electric M9 luxury MPV. The M9 will be available in three color options and will be sold through selected MG outlets, offering a stylish alternative. The M9 will be equipped with a 90KWh battery pack, delivering 245 BHP, a torque of 350Nm and a range of around 430km. With an expected starting price of about Rs 60 lakh. Nissan is also entering the compact MPV market with a badge-engineered version of the Renault Kiger. The Nissan Compact MPV, which will be based on the CMF-A+ architecture and powered by 1.0-litre petrol engines.
