To facilitate a smoother travel experience for pilgrims attending the Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has launched the ‘ECoR Yatra’ mobile application. This Android app, accessible via Google Play, serves as a digital hub for all rail-related services and amenities. Users can plan their journeys, access transport updates, and stay informed about railway facilities without visiting station counters. The app boasts user-friendly navigation and supports multiple languages. The ‘ECoR Yatra’ app offers a wealth of features, including special train schedules for the 2025 Rath Yatra (June 25 – July 7), regular train timetables, live train and platform status updates, details on lodging and tourist accommodations, and information about ticket counters and booking options. Integrated with NTES and PNR status, it facilitates fare inquiries and seat availability checks. Video tutorials guide users on utilizing ATVMs and the UTS Mobile App. Additional features include information on drinking water and e-catering services, as well as click-to-dial helplines for Railway Police. The app also provides real-time emergency notifications. Passengers and pilgrims are advised to download the ‘ECoR Yatra’ app to ensure a hassle-free and informed travel experience.
