Naveen Patnaik, currently recovering in a private room at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, received a visit from senior BJD leaders. This visit followed Patnaik’s shift from the ICU, indicating an improved condition.
Patnaik, the former Chief Minister of Odisha and now the Leader of Opposition, underwent a successful four-hour spine surgery for cervical arthritis on June 22 after arriving in Mumbai on June 20. The surgery generated a wave of support and prayers throughout Odisha, reflecting the concern for his well-being, particularly given his age.
Prem Patnaik shared that Naveen was recuperating well, highlighting a procedure performed on Sunday and the fact that Naveen was able to walk on his own. He acknowledged the prayers and wishes for a quick recovery.
