Odisha is grappling with a surge in sexual assault cases, with a 25-year-old woman becoming the latest victim. She was reportedly abducted and gang-raped by three men in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday. This incident marks the fifth reported case of sexual assault in the state within a short span of ten days. The victim was allegedly lured by two men on a motorcycle, who then took her to a secluded area where the assault occurred. The main suspect has been arrested, while the search continues for the others involved. Previous incidents include cases in Gopalpur, Keonjhar, and Berhampur, highlighting the severity of the issue.
