The Rath Yatra festival at Devboomi, Jindal Nagar, was a grand affair, adhering to the sacred traditions of the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra. The chariots of the deities, symbolizing their annual voyage, processed from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple, attended by numerous devotees. Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel & Power, along with his family, actively participated in the main ceremonies. Mr. Jindal expressed his devotion and emphasized the unifying spirit of the festival. The Jindal Foundation’s support was also noted. All the rituals were performed in accordance with Vedic traditions. The involvement of women was particularly noteworthy. Community members and officials actively participated in the celebrations, which were live-streamed for wider access. The festivities will conclude with the deities’ return.
