The electoral college voter’s list will be issued on June 29th. Candidates can file nominations on June 30th, followed by scrutiny, and the final list will be published with the allotment of election symbols. Voting will take place on July 1st, and the results are expected by 12:30 PM. This election is significant for the Odisha BJP as it focuses on strengthening the organizational structure in the state. These organizational elections are conducted every three years, beginning at the local level and ending with the election of the national president. Local, mandal, and district committee elections have already concluded. The party had previously announced the newly elected presidents of 23 out of 37 organizational districts in January. The state party is eligible to participate in the election of the national president after the election of the state party president.
