Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister and Member of Parliament from Sambalpur, took part in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ mass plantation drive, viewing it as a step towards a sustainable future and achieving India’s net-zero goals by 2070. He highlighted the involvement of various organizations in the initiative. He also participated in the Rath Yatra in Puri, alongside Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and visited the advanced Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), which was instrumental in managing the large crowds and ensuring safety during the festival.
