A 46-year-old man has been arrested in Noida, in connection with the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl. The incident occurred in Sector-52, where both the accused and the victim reside. The girl’s parents were away at work when the incident unfolded on Sunday. The girl was alone when the alleged incident took place. The girl’s mother was contacted by her daughter at approximately 5 pm, who reported that the accused, a neighbor, had entered the home, assaulted her, and then left. The mother alerted her husband, and they quickly returned home. Upon their return, the parents found their daughter in distress. The couple immediately filed a complaint, leading to the man’s arrest. The police have taken the accused into custody and the case is proceeding through the court system. The family has indicated that the girl is experiencing trauma as a result of the assault and is now reluctant to go to school.
