A Delhi-Washington D.C. bound Air India flight encountered a delay in Vienna following a technical glitch identified during a post-refueling check on Wednesday. Flight AI103, which had originated from Delhi and stopped in Vienna for refueling, was unable to continue to Washington as scheduled. The airline cited the need for extended maintenance. The Vienna to Washington, DC segment was cancelled, and passengers were provided alternate arrangements. The corresponding return flight, AI104, was also cancelled. Affected passengers were provided with alternative flight options or full refunds. This recent operational issue adds to the mounting concerns surrounding Air India operations, particularly following the tragic crash in Ahmedabad in June.
