An unknown individual contacted the minister via mobile phone late Thursday, issuing a chilling warning that he would be ‘eliminated within 24 hours’. The police have launched an investigation into the serious matter, with the mobile number used in the call being a key focus.
The threat, which occurred on the night of July 3rd, prompted immediate action from the police. Dr. Ansari reported the incident to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Ranchi, Chandan Kumar Sinha. Law enforcement is actively working to identify and locate the person responsible for the threatening call. The caller reportedly used offensive language during the call.
Dr. Irfan Ansari is currently in Delhi, attending to the state’s Minister of Minority Welfare, Hafizul Ansari, who is reportedly ill. The threatening call was made from mobile number 7903928578. The police are trying to identify the owner of the phone number and apprehend the suspect. Dr. Irfan Ansari is a three-time MLA from the Jamtara constituency, representing the Congress party. He is a minister in the Hemant Soren government and holds the portfolios of Health, Food Supply, and Disaster Management. Dr. Ansari, known for his public statements, is once again in the news following this serious incident.
