
Raipur, July 4, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today had a courtesy meeting with Shipra Pathak, known as “Water Woman” who has made remarkable contributions in the field of environment protection, at the Chief Minister’s residence office. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated Shipra Pathak’s important contribution in environmental protection and especially in taking Sindoor plantation to the masses. He honored Shipra Pathak by presenting her with a shawl and a memento. It is noteworthy that Shipra Pathak has gained recognition at a large scale for her commitment to environmental protection and for the work done to spread awareness in the society. The plantation campaign under her leadership has not only promoted environmental protection, but also inspired the common people to plant trees and take responsibility towards the environment. On this occasion, Professor Harishankar Singh of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow was also present.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the work done by Shipra Pathak in the field of environmental protection is a source of inspiration for the society. He also assured that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working for environmental protection and all possible cooperation will be provided to such efforts.
