
A bomb threat caused significant disruption to the Chhattisgarh Sampark Kranti as it traveled from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Durg. The alert prompted a massive security response at Jhansi railway station. The Delhi control room received a call reporting a bomb on the train. Police, including GRP and RPF, along with bomb disposal teams, were immediately dispatched. The train was evacuated upon reaching Jhansi station. During the search of the train, three unclaimed compartments were discovered in coach B-1. After questioning the coach assistant and a thorough search, authorities found no evidence of a bomb. SP City Gyanendra Singh confirmed that no suspicious items were located. The train was given the all-clear to resume its journey after an hour, departing at 12:30 AM. Platforms 2 and 3 were evacuated, and all stalls were closed as a safety precaution while the police conducted their search. The bomb squad examined the unclaimed compartments, finding nothing dangerous.
