
The Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for Jharkhand, forecasting light to moderate rainfall across the state through July 9th. The advisory specifically mentions the possibility of heavy rainfall in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Saraikela-Kharsawan districts on July 7th. The weather department also predicts thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds, with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, in certain areas of the state. In response to these conditions, a Yellow Alert has been declared. Over the past day, Saraikela recorded the highest rainfall at 73 mm. Other regions also experienced rainfall: Bandgaon (60.8 mm), Palakot (56.8 mm), Fatehpur (55 mm), Kharsawan (52.6 mm), Baharagora (44.6 mm), Dhalbhumgarh (42.4 mm), Ghoda Banda (39.4 mm), Chaibasa (39 mm), Rania (34.6 mm), and Chainpur (33 mm). Ranchi and its neighboring areas saw rainfall throughout Sunday morning. The maximum temperatures on Sunday were: Ranchi (27.7°C), Jamshedpur (31.5°C), Daltonganj (32.8°C), Bokaro (31.1°C), and Chaibasa (29.4°C).
