Preparations for the Shravani Mela 2025 are in full swing, with just six days until the event begins. To enhance the experience for pilgrims, several key arrangements are underway. The laying of Ganga sand along the Kanwaria Path, stretching from Dumma to Khijuria, is underway. This initiative aims to protect pilgrims’ feet from blisters caused by walking. Addressing the heat, the authorities are setting up ‘Indra Varsha’ systems at 20 locations. These systems will operate throughout the day, providing cool relief. Furthermore, the path will be equipped with 206 toilets, 82 hand pumps, and nine water tap locations, with water supplied by tube wells. The platforms on the Kanwaria Path are also undergoing repair and repainting. The Path Construction Department is working to complete the sand-laying by July 10th.
