Relentless rainfall has brought life to a standstill in Gariaband. The heavy downpour, which began last night, has caused widespread flooding, with water entering homes and creating distress for residents. Roadways are impassable in numerous locations, particularly in villages of Loharsi and Ravan, due to severe waterlogging, causing traffic to come to a standstill. Residents are actively trying to remove water from their residences, but the continuous rain is making their efforts futile.
The administration has put out an alert as several small rivers and streams are overflowing across the district.
Authorities are advising residents to be cautious and to avoid approaching any water bodies unless absolutely essential.
