A love affair turned sour in Ranchi, resulting in the arrest of a man who threatened his ex-girlfriend with a gun. Krishna Kumar, originally from Patna, Bihar, arrived at the woman’s house in the Sukdev Nagar area with a pistol, demanding that she marry him. He threatened to shoot her if she declined. The woman’s cries for assistance attracted the attention of nearby residents, who intervened and alerted the police. Police apprehended Kumar at the scene and recovered a firearm. The pair had been in a relationship that began as a friendship. After a disagreement, the woman ended the relationship, leading to the man’s extreme reaction.
