Continuous rainfall in the Saranda region of Jharkhand has caused a kutcha house to collapse in Dubil village. The incident, which occurred in the Hendediri Tola area under the Chhotanagra Panchayat, left the family of Surajmuni Champia homeless. The house collapsed around 4 AM on Tuesday, destroying valuable possessions such as an almirah, a box, mobile phones, important documents, and food supplies. The family is now exposed to the elements, lacking both shelter and a place to prepare meals. The family has appealed to the district administration, Circle Officer, and panchayat representatives for immediate assistance and compensation. Mukhiya Munni Devgam highlighted that many impoverished families in the village live in similar kutcha houses, which are now at risk due to the ongoing rain.
