A tragic crash involving an Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar Trainer aircraft has taken place near Churu, Rajasthan. The accident, which occurred during a routine training mission on Wednesday, resulted in the deaths of both pilots. The IAF confirmed the incident and stated that no civilian property was damaged. A court of inquiry has been formed to investigate the cause of the crash.
This is the second such accident within a three-month period. Earlier, in April, a Jaguar aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from the Jamnagar Airbase due to a technical fault. The pilots ejected before the crash, with one pilot, Siddharth Yadav, later dying of his injuries. A similar incident happened in March when a fighter jet crashed during a training mission in Haryana’s Panchkula district. The pilot safely ejected in that case.
