India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Monday during the SCO foreign ministers’ meeting. The meeting was the first of its kind for Jaishankar in six years. Jaishankar extended greetings from President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Furthermore, he briefed President Xi on the current state of bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of leadership direction in these matters.
