
Citizen delegation of Rajnandgaon meets Chief Minister: Expresses gratitude for various development works including Prayas Vidyalaya, Nalanda complex
Raipur, July 15, 2025/ A courtesy meeting was held between the Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and a delegation of citizens of Rajnandgaon district in the committee room of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Addressing the delegation, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is continuously working in the public interest with complete transparency. Encouraging innovation in the administrative system, all the processes are being done online in a phased manner, so that easy, simple and accessible services are being made available to the citizens.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that on the occasion of ‘National Panchayat Day’ on April 24, Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been started in the selected Gram Panchayats of the state. Through these centers, banking facilities are now being made available at the Gram Panchayat level itself. This initiative is an important step towards digital empowerment of the villagers. In the coming time, other panchayats of the state will also be connected with this facility.
The citizen delegation from Rajnandgaon expressed their gratitude and thanks to Chief Minister Shri Sai for Prayas Vidyalaya, Nalanda complex, and other important development works in the district.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that significant progress has been made in the expansion of drinking water, road construction, and other infrastructural works in Rajnandgaon district in the last one and a half years. Various construction works costing more than Rs 600 crore have been approved, which are directly benefiting the citizens of urban and rural areas. This reflects the state government’s commitment towards public welfare and development.
Chief Minister Shri Sai assured the delegation that the state government is committed to advancing Chhattisgarh towards sustainable development while working on the principles of balanced, inclusive and sustainable development.
Former MP Shri Pradeep Gandhi, Shri Komal Rajput, three-tier panchayat office bearers and distinguished citizens of Rajnandgaon district were present on this occasion.
