The Hareli festival was celebrated in a traditional manner at the residence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The event highlighted the cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh with the display of traditional agricultural tools and clothing. Items like ‘Katha’, used for measuring grains, ‘Khumri’, a head covering for protection from the sun and rain, ‘Kansi Dori’, used for weaving cots, ‘Jhapi’, a wooden container, and ‘Kalari’, used for handling grains during processing, were showcased. The festival provided a platform to showcase and preserve the traditional practices and tools of Chhattisgarh.
