To combat the rise in cybercrime, Bihar is establishing cyber forensic labs in Patna and Rajgir. These labs will operate under the existing CID-run Forensic Science Lab (FSL). The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) from Gujarat will provide expert guidance and consultation for the establishment of the labs. The NFSU is a leading institution in forensic science education and research. The labs will enable the scientific investigation of cyber offenses, enhance the gathering of crucial evidence, and support the prosecution of cybercriminals.
