In a dramatic event, an ITBP bus carrying security forces plunged into the Sindh River in the Kullan area of Ganderbal district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday. The accident occurred during heavy rainfall. Compounding the situation, multiple weapons are missing from the bus. The SDRF Ganderbal and SDRF Sub Component Gund are conducting a joint search and rescue operation in the river. Authorities have recovered three weapons to date, and the search continues. The driver was treated for minor injuries and is currently stable. The bus is reported to have slipped into the river while going around a bend.
