In a significant development, the High Court has provided relief to the Tomar brothers, who are facing accusations of black marketing and usury. The court has placed an interim stay on the administration’s demolition order, which aimed to demolish their property, claiming it was acquired through illegal means. The court clarified that the administration must act within the bounds of the law and cannot bypass legal processes. The legal proceedings were held before the single bench of Justice Arvind Kumar Verma. The court has now given them a stay order. The court has also requested the police to give copies of seized items to the petitioners.
