Lionel Messi is reportedly scheduled to visit India from December 13 to 15, with a possible highlight being a celebrity cricket match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on December 14. The match could feature Messi alongside Indian cricket icons MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Discussions are underway regarding the participation of Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma. The event is being organized by an event management agency. This India visit will also include stops in New Delhi and Kolkata, marking Messi’s second trip to the country. His previous visit was in 2011 when he played a football match in Kolkata. Messi, currently playing for Inter Miami, is also aiming for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
