
A devastating incident has occurred in the Jagdalpur area, with two young children losing their lives in a quarry pit in the Hazariguda village, under the Parpa police station. Upon notification of the event, the SDRF team swiftly responded and launched a rescue operation. The victims have been identified by the police as Sandeep Nag, 5, and Jay Shree, 6. After a prolonged search, the team successfully recovered the bodies of the children from the water. The bodies were then sent to the Medical College in Jagdalpur for a post-mortem. It is believed that the children were playing near the quarry when the depth of the water proved fatal. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The tragic event has brought attention to the safety protocols at the quarry and the potential hazards of open pits.
