The Chhattisgarh government has made adjustments to the Half Electricity Bill scheme, specifically modifying the discount parameters. The new guidelines offer a 50% discount on up to 100 units of monthly electricity consumption, replacing the previous provision of discounts on up to 400 units. According to the government, about 70% of the state’s domestic consumers, which equates to approximately 31 lakh families out of a total of 45 lakh, consume less than 100 units per month.
