
Following the passing of Shibu Soren, the founder and patron of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), party spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya conveyed the immense grief felt by the organization, likening the loss to a devastating natural event.
Bhattacharya affirmed that while the physical presence of Guruji is gone, his core principles and teachings will continue to inspire and guide all members of the JMM.
He highlighted Guruji’s life as an embodiment of constant struggle, always fighting for social justice against all odds. His work fostered awareness among various groups including tribal communities, indigenous populations, Dalits, the marginalized, laborers, farmers, and women, enabling them to advocate for their rights.
Bhattacharya emphasized that Guruji’s legacy includes advocating for education to combat ignorance, fighting against exploitation, and promoting a life of dignity for all.
