The couple was at the Sitamarhi court for divorce proceedings, where a heated argument ensued. Numerous witnesses were present during the dispute. The husband had filed for divorce in the Sitamarhi court, indicating his desire to end the marriage.
The cause of the divorce case is that the wife married her lover, leaving her husband. Both were in court for the hearing. The wife remained unmoved, despite her husband’s attempts to reason with her. She directed insults at her husband, while the husband made claims about her marrying a Muslim man.
During the court proceedings, the husband mentioned that his three-year-old child was with his in-laws and that he wanted his son back. His wife had married a man of a different religion. The wife displayed no remorse while the court attendees were criticizing her, instead directing her anger at her husband. The husband’s attempt to hold her hand only escalated her anger.
Enraged, the wife turned on the onlookers, accusing them of being shameless. She highlighted that her husband was holding her hand and the scene was being witnessed by everyone. The husband released her hand, and she continued to hurl insults while moving away. She questioned why her husband was causing a disturbance in the court. The husband shared he is from Padumker village in East Champaran. The wife’s parents are supporting her. He has a three-year-old son who is with his maternal grandparents. He wants to divorce his wife and keep his son with him. A panchayat had met at his in-laws’ place. His in-laws reside in Nunoura village under the Mahindwara police station. The panchayat had requested his father-in-law to return his son.
Since then, his father-in-law has left with their son. The wife has been with her lover for a year, and they have a daughter.
