
A four-lane highway project in Rajgir, Nalanda, was initiated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, marking a significant infrastructure development. The project includes the construction of a four-lane highway from Salehpur (SH-78) to Beloua (Rajgir) via Nursaray-Ahiyapur-Silao on NH-120, with a budget of ₹862.63 crore. This highway is aimed at improving connectivity within the Buddhist circuit and reducing travel time from Patna to Rajgir. Alongside, a Road Overbridge (ROB) on National Highway 82 was inaugurated at a cost of ₹81.37 crore. The ROB is expected to ease traffic congestion. In addition to the infrastructure projects, the Chief Minister inspected the preparations for the Asia Rugby Under 20 Championship being held at the Rajgir Sports Complex, meeting with athletes and encouraging them. The Chief Minister also visited the stadium to take stock of the ongoing work and the preparations for the sports event, showing support for the development of sports facilities in the region.
